Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released data of 4G download speed in the month of February. According to the recently released data, Reliance Jio is at the forefront in the average 4G download speed. In February, the average download speed of Jio was 20.9 Mbps, which was higher than the 18.8 Mbps speed in January.

Last year 2018, the performance of the fastest 4G operator was also near Reliance Jio, the download speed of Geo was measured throughout the year. According to TRAI’s release, the download speed of Bharti Airtel has dropped from 9.5 Mbps in February to 9.4 Mbps in February.

Although the business of Vodafone and Idea Cellular has merged and they are now working as Vodafone Idea, TRAI has shown the download and upload speed of both networks separately. The Vodafone network’s average 4G download speed increased from 6.7 Mbps in January to 6.8 Mbps in February. Idea has also recorded a slight improvement in the speed of 5.5 Mbps in January. In the month of February, its average download speed is 5.7 Mbps.

In February, Vodafone has achieved the number one crown in the 4G upload speed. In the first place, he has found the idea behind pushing Idea. January was the number one in the Idea upload speed. Vodafone’s 4G upload speed increased from 5.4 Mbps last month to 6.0 Mbps in February.

In February, there was a slight decline in Idea and Airtel Network’s average 4G upload speed. Idea’s 4G upload speed is 5.6 Mbps and Airtel’s 3.7 Mbps. While Jio’s average upload speed was seen to improve. This is 4.5 mbps in February. Average speed is calculated by TRAI on the basis of data, which is collected on real-time basis with the help of MySpeed application.
